Greatly influenced by 1960’s advertising cartoons Wardell’s style has been called neo-retro, meaning a contemporary take of classic cartoons styles. Wardell uses vector computer programs to create sharp graphics with vivid colors for use in print and web media. Wardell is currently working as a freelance artist doing work for magazine, video games, animation, t-shirts and skateboard decks.
